KPS SYNOPSIS

KPS was established in July 1993 to provide an income and allow Lesley flexibility to work around the demands of a young family. The Milton Keynes Business Venture (now Business Link) was instrumental in providing training seminars and funding to help the venture off the ground. By 1995 KPS was established and growing well. Lesley runs the company as a sole trader providing annual returns to HM Revenue & Customs. KPS is not presently liable for VAT.

LESLEY KEMP was born in 1957 in Kingston upon Thames and brought up in England and Germany. Educated to 'O' level standard and professionally trained at a secretarial college in Leamington Spa, Lesley moved to London in 1976 where her career progressed through a variety of junior roles to senior PA positions and office management. 1989 saw a career break to focus on motherhood until the inception of KPS in 1993. Lesley handles the transcription, typing and secretarial assignments and deals with the administration, accounting and legal aspects of the business. Hobbies include tap, jazz and ballet dance, singing, musical theatre, cairn terriers and fell walking. Contact Lesley for a full CV and references.

KEVIN KEMP was born in 1955 in Paddington and raised in North London. In 1981, after completing an apprenticeship at Rolls Royce, Kevin embarked on a career change to the telecommunications industry where he qualified in internal and external telephony. An avid interest in computers led him to the exciting world of information technology and he now has a wealth of accreditation under his belt. Kevin manages the technology needs of KPS and designs spreadsheets and databases for Lesley to data input. Personal interests include motor sports, science fiction, cairn terriers, fell walking, running, snowboarding and of course computers. Contact Kevin for more information.
